WHO WE ARE

Whole Child® Expertise · Development, Construction, Operations & Education

Whole Child® creates, builds, operates, and grows premium childcare centers. Our foundation is unusual: we come from a successful background developing, owning, and operating our own centers, not simply consulting or constructing them. We combine real-estate development expertise (US & EU projects exceeding $500M) with deep operational knowledge of every aspect of childcare, from site selection and purpose-built design through staffing, training, licensing, curriculum, and long-term operational excellence.

Why it matters: unlike firms that only build facilities or provide consulting, we have developed, owned, and operated our own centers and achieved successful exits. Every system we deliver is real-world tested. We don’t just know how to build childcare centers, we know how to build successful childcare businesses.

SAUDI CHILDCARE DELIVERY ROADMAP

National program · 200–500 Schools · 13 Regions · 24-Month Build

A standardized portfolio of childcare / early-years schools in three prototype sizes (~30, ~100, ~250 children) across Saudi Arabia’s 13 administrative regions, delivered under a government partnership, opened in phased waves and fully operational within two years. Success rests on standardized prototype designs, parallel regional construction waves, and a single program-management backbone.

Scope of Work & Delivery Steps

1
Define Scope — fix school count, prototype mix, and land criteria with the government partner.
2
Select Regions & Cities — target cities across 13 regions by demand and government priority.
3
Select Locations — identify neighborhoods and plots within each city.
4
Assign Site & Size — lock each site and match prototype size to local demand.
5
Adjust Master Plan — reconcile into a finalized, government-approved portfolio.
6
Budget Each School — full per-school budget: construction, fit-out, FF&E, materials.
7
Procure & Order — bulk framework orders for materials, equipment, resources.
8
Timeline Each School — build-to-open schedule per school, sequenced into waves.
9
Stand Up Delivery Teams — mobilize PMO, construction, and launch teams.
10
Build & Deploy In Waves — parallel regional waves, opening school-by-school until live.

Program-Management Backbone

  • Steering / Oversight — governs the program, owns the government relationship, gates between waves.
  • PMO — central backbone: scope, per-school budgets, master schedule, procurement, reporting.
  • Construction Delivery — single main contractor or regional panel running waves in parallel.

Supply & Launch

  • Procurement & Supply — bulk-buys FF&E, toys, materials under framework agreements; site logistics.
  • Launch & Operations — HRSD/MoE licensing, staffing, one-by-one openings and handover to operations.
  • Pilot Cohort — Wave 1 de-risks the prototype before full rollout.

OPERATIONS SYSTEMS & MANUALS

The AKA® Operations System - Saudi Adapted

Our operating backbone is a comprehensive, field-proven childcare operations system refined over 20+ years running our own licensed centers in the United States, now adapted and fine-tuned for the Kingdom’s regulatory framework. It is the difference between a building and a working center.

What this proves
  • Institutional maturity - a complete, documented operating system, not improvisation.
  • Real-world tested - every procedure has run live centers, paused bad inspections, and trained real directors.
  • Saudi-ready - already mapped to MHRSD ratios, room standards, and licensing requirements.

What The Manual Covers

  • Daily operations & management; enrollment & family lifecycle
  • Curriculum & programming; health & safety; emergency preparedness
  • Ratios & facility standards; human resources & staffing
  • Licensing & compliance; facilities & equipment

Standards-Readiness

Our current US ratios already align with, or exceed, Saudi HRSD requirements: infants 1:4 (HRSD newborn–2: 1:4), twos 1:8 (2–4 yrs), preschool 1:10, older 1:20. A field-proven system that maps cleanly onto Kingdom regulation.

EDUCATION & CURRICULUM

A 400+ Title Curriculum Library · Representative Sample Below

Our education offer is a complete, play-based curriculum system spanning infants through pre-kindergarten - language, math, science, social sciences, physical development, fine arts, and social-emotional learning, delivered through 400+ books, lesson plans, worksheets, and documentation. The flipbook below is one representative book from that library, already localized into Arabic, a sample of the system, not the whole of it.

What this proves
  • Depth - a structured, age-sequenced curriculum, not a handful of activities.
  • Classroom-ready - print-ready materials teachers can use on day one.
  • Localizable - the same framework adapts to Saudi language, culture, and curriculum expectations.

TEACHER TRAINING

Age-appropriate training programs · sample manual below

Whole Child provides structured teacher training built around age-appropriate programs, giving every educator the guidance to deliver our curriculum with confidence, age group by age group. Training pairs with the operations and curriculum systems so a new center can open with a fully prepared team, not just a building.

What this proves
  • Turnkey staffing - we don’t just supply curriculum, we train the teachers who deliver it.
  • Age-specific - dedicated manuals per age group, so training matches developmental stage.
  • Scalable - a repeatable training system that stands up quality teams across many centers at once.
